By registering as a judge for the SIP Awards, you represent and warrant that you are participating solely as an independent consumer.
You confirm that you are not a current or former brand ambassador, industry representative, or employee of any spirits, wine, beer, or related alcohol brand. You further confirm that you do not hold any formal training, certification, or professional designation as a sommelier, spirits professional, or similar expert.
You acknowledge that the SIP Awards judging process is strictly consumer-based. Any misrepresentation of your background or qualifications may result in removal from the judging panel without notice and disqualification from participation.

DISQUALIFICATION SIP Awards reserves the full right to disqualify at any time any person from being a judge, for any reason.
Judges/Attendees cannot be directly affiliated with the spirits industry in any way (bartender/servers are welcome).
If it’s discovered that you are a spirit brand representative, that brand can forfeit their award and/or be disqualified from future events.
If you are unsure if your affiliation is permitted, please inform us in advance.
REFUND POLICY All fees and tickets are non-refundable.
BLIND TASTING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Due to the nature of this event, all samples are sent without informing any guests on the product, brand, or its
ingredients, outside of being advised of the type of category.
If you have any concerns for any reason, including but not limited to, allergies, health issues, personal reasons, preferences,
boycott of brand/region, religious reasons and, therefore, cannot consume specific ingredients, products, and/or brands;
we recommend that you inform us and immediately opt out of the judging role.
RESPONSIBLE DRINKING The SIP Awards condones responsible drinking. We highly recommend that you eat an adequate meal prior to
participating and to always drink in moderation with plenty of water.
Consumption of alcohol is optional and a personal decision. We recommend utilizing "spit cups" to be used throughout the spirit tasting.
You agree that any alcoholic beverages you consume are your own choice and responsibility. You agree to drink responsibly.
You will NOT drive if you're intoxicated to any capability.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF YOUR ACTIONS RESULTING FROM CONSUMING ALCOHOL.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement consisting of the
above paragraphs. I fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue.
